Are you non-profit?
We are 100% non-profit; our tax id # is 26-4258247. We are staffed by volunteers only. No one is paid, including our Board of Directors and Officers.

Do you take animals from the community?
Yes, we do as long as these criteria are met:
  1. We must have space in one of our foster families.
  2. The animal being surrendered must get along with other like animals.
  3. We require a $250.00 and up surrender fee.
  4. Dogs and cats under 5 years of age- The fee is $250 + $100 if the animal is unaltered.
  5. Dogs and Cats 5 to 6 years of age- The fee is $250 + $100 if the animal is unaltered and the animal will be required to have a health exam by our Veterinarian.
  6. Dogs and Cats 7 years of age and older- The fee is $2,000 and the animal will be required to have a health exam by our Veterinarian including a Senior Profile Blood Test.

What animals do you rescue?
We rescue and adopt out Dogs and Cats only at this time.

How can I volunteer?
See our Volunteer and Foster page on our website.

How do I become a foster family?
See our Volunteer and Foster page on our website.

Where are your animals kept?
All of our animals are placed in foster families. We don't believe that it's in the best interest of our animals to be kept in cages, except when shown at adoption sites. We believe that the animals make better family members, are more adoptable and much better socialized when integrated with a family prior to adoption. It also gives our rescue the ability to intelligently speak to temperament, behavior and other important information that is valuable when making an adoption decision.

How do I adopt an animal?
See our Adoption FAQ's page on our website.

What do I do if I find an animal?
You should immediately take the animal to the County or City animal shelter in your area. The lost pet owner may be looking for him/her.
